As an English blogger that regularly scours the internet for ideas and recipe inspiration, I often feel a little disappointed when I read a recipe and see that the measurements of ingredients are given in American or imperial units that – try as I might – I cannot remember how to convert into metric units.

After struggling for a while with this I decided to do some long over due workings out and made myself a little guide that helps me every now and then when I feel a bit rusty. From cup to grams conversions to what temperature I need to use when using my parents fan assisted oven, I’ve dodgedΒ a few culinary disasters thanks to having this all written down in one place.

I hope this helps you as much as it has done me, I’ll be adding hints & tips that have near enough saved my (‘scuse my French) ass in the kitchen over the years as well as any new gems I come across – in the mean time please feel free to comment with any saving graces that have helped you out!
